What problems should be paid attention to when buying plastic bottles?
The wall thickness of the plastic bottle is uniform, the place where the consumer's attention is concentrated. The printing surface should be smooth and continuous; if the liquid plastic bottle contains handles, grooves, ribs and other structures.
When designing the printing surface of the plastic bottle, care should be taken not to cause any inconvenience to the printing operation. The label surface should be flat. A "frame" can be designed on the outside of the plastic bottle to make the label position accurately.
When labels are used on the exterior of the plastic bottle, there is no movement, for example, the middle of the plastic bottle is relatively thin. Changing the outer shape of the plastic bottle and increasing the circumferential groove or rib on the outer surface of the plastic bottle can improve the rigidity and bending resistance of the plastic bottle. The longitudinal grooves or ribs can eliminate the deviation, sagging or deformation of the plastic bottle under temporary load; if the material is high-density polyethylene or polypropylene.
When designing squeeze plastic bottles, the cross-section of the plastic bottle should be rectangular or oval. For the material of low-density polyethylene or other flexible plastic bottles, the cross-section should be round, so that the contents can be easily removed from the plastic bottle. Inside extrusion.
When blow molding, always tend to harden first. Therefore, the wall thickness of this part is also larger. The edge and corner part, the part where the parison is in contact with inflation, the wall thickness of this part is smaller.
Which is better, PET plastic bottle or PP plastic bottle?
PET plastic bottles are the mainstream of beverage packaging. The leading position in China's beverage packaging industry should be PET plastic bottles. So far, no better packaging material has been found to replace PET plastic bottles. PP bottles are mainly made of one-step injection stretch-blow molding and two-step heating stretch-blow molding machines. The PP bottles are transparent, robust and heat-resistant, and the price is lower than that of radical materials. Generally, the PP plastic bottle is mixed with 0.1%-0.4% sorbitol xylene nucleating agent. After blowing, blowing, injection, kneading and other methods, high transparent PP plastic bottles can be produced. PP plastic bottle has good temperature resistance function, sensitive bottle shape description, inferior safety, hygiene and taste persistence of the content, and the price is cheaper than PET, PS, PE and other materials. The use of PP plastic bottles in beverage packaging markets has gradually approached PET bottles. The continuous development of modified resins, anti-reflection agents, and mechanical equipment technology has enabled PP containers to replace glass, PET and PVC containers, and has a broad market prospect.
What do the numbers on the bottom of the plastic bottle mean?
The number 1 at the bottom of the plastic bottle: stands for PET, that is, polyethylene terephthalate.
The number 2 at the bottom of the plastic bottle: stands for HDPE, that is, high-density polyethylene.
The number 3 at the bottom of the plastic bottle: stands for PVC, that is, polyvinyl chloride.
The number 4: at the bottom of the plastic bottle: stands for LDPE, or low-density polyethylene.
The number 5 at the bottom of the plastic bottle: stands for PP, that is, polypropylene.
